ENGYNE / LEGAL

Privacy policy

What Engyne processes, why it is needed, and how to contact us about your data.

Last updated: 9 September 2026Applies to Cloud & Chrome
Cloud and the Chrome extension work differently. Cloud operates an authorised seller connection on hosted infrastructure. The extension operates in your browser. This policy covers both.

Scope and responsibility

This policy applies to the Engyne website, Engyne Cloud, the Chrome extension, and related licensing, billing, diagnostics and support services. Engyne is independent of IndiaMART. You are responsible for having permission to use each connected account and for handling buyer information lawfully.

Information we process

  • Identity and workspace information: your name, email, sign-in identifiers, memberships, role and account preferences.
  • Seller connections: the seller-account identifiers and session data required for your authorised Cloud connection. Engyne does not store your IndiaMART password.
  • Automation information: rule profiles, keywords, schedules, limits, lead details available to your account, capture decisions, timestamps and delivery status.
  • Billing: your plan, subscription status, business details, GSTIN when supplied, invoices and payment references. Our payment provider processes payment credentials; Engyne does not store your full card number, UPI PIN or bank password.
  • Extension access and diagnostics: licence identifiers, device identifiers, activation status, extension version, configuration and runtime errors.
  • Support and security: messages you send us, diagnostic information you share, and technical records needed to investigate errors and protect the service.

Cloud, mobile and extension data flows

Engyne Cloud processes your authorised seller session and lead data on hosted infrastructure. The phone web app accesses this same Cloud workspace; installing it does not move capture onto the phone. The Chrome extension evaluates BuyLeads in the browser, but it also communicates with licensing and support services. It is not accurate to describe all Engyne data as staying on your device.

When you use the phone-number and OTP connection flow, the verification details are processed to establish the seller session. Do not send those codes to support. Session material is sensitive even though it is not your IndiaMART password.

Why we use information

We use this information to provide sign-in and workspace access; run your configured automation; deliver leads to destinations you choose; validate licences and subscriptions; produce billing records; investigate issues; prevent misuse; and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your data or use your lead information for advertising personalisation.

Service providers and integrations

We use service providers for authentication, hosting, databases, payments and service communications. Clerk handles Cloud authentication and a licensed Indian payment gateway handles payments. The extension's existing licensing services use Supabase. Providers receive information needed for their service, subject to their applicable terms.

When you configure a webhook, Engyne sends captured-lead events to your HTTPS receiver. You control the receiver and its access permissions. Removing a webhook stops future delivery; it does not remove copies already delivered to an external system.

Service providers may process information outside India, depending on their infrastructure. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the security and lawful operation of the service.

Cloud may use infrastructure and database providers different from the extension’s licensing service. Error reporting, where enabled, processes technical diagnostics. Browser push services process the subscription endpoint needed to deliver notifications. The service providers used for your workspace can change as infrastructure evolves; contact us for questions about a specific provider or transfer.

Retention and security

Operational records are retained as reasonably needed to provide the service, troubleshoot, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Billing and tax records may need to be kept after cancellation. Retention can differ between data categories and backups; we do not promise immediate deletion from every backup.

We use access controls and technical safeguards to protect information. No system is completely risk-free. Keep your sign-in methods secure and never send passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs or raw browser-session exports to support.

Your choices and requests

You can adjust rules and connected destinations in the product. For access, correction, export, deletion or privacy concerns, email support@engyne.space from your account address. We may verify your identity before acting. Some records cannot be deleted where retention is required by law.

Signing out, cancelling a subscription and deleting an account are different actions. If you want account data deleted, please explicitly request deletion. Data already sent to third-party destinations must also be managed there.

You may pause capture, disconnect an IndiaMART account, disable a delivery destination or revoke browser notification permission. These controls serve different purposes: pausing does not delete a stored session; disconnecting does not cancel billing; revoking notification permission does not stop capture.

Tell us which workspace and data category your request concerns. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain the applicable reason and how you can raise a concern with us. Statutory rights apply to the extent and from the dates required by applicable law.

Cookies and local storage

Engyne and its authentication services use cookies or similar storage to keep you signed in, secure sessions and remember necessary preferences. The Chrome extension stores configuration needed for its local workflow. Disabling essential storage may prevent sign-in or normal operation.

The mobile web app may cache application files through a service worker. Clearing site data removes local browser storage but does not erase your Cloud account. Demo and support enquiries are used to respond to your request; a support request is not consent to unrelated marketing.

Updates and contact

We update this page when our data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will also be communicated where appropriate.
