Engyne Privacy Policy

Engyne (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides a browser extension that helps users automate rule-based lead qualification and operational workflows.

This Privacy Policy explains what data Engyne processes, why it is processed, and how it is used.

1) Scope

This policy applies to:

  • Engyne Chrome extension
  • Engyne licensing and telemetry backend services
  • Engyne admin panel used for license operations

2) Data we process

License and access data

  • License key
  • Device identifier (including stable device ID/cookie on supported domain)
  • Activation, expiry, and license status metadata

Runtime and diagnostic data

  • Extension version and running state
  • Counters (scanned, clicked, verified)
  • Rule configuration snapshots
  • Last reject reasons and runtime errors
  • Basic page context metadata needed for diagnostics

On-page signal data for rule matching

  • Lead text/signals visible to the user in supported workflows (keyword, country, age, verification fields)

3) Why we process data

We process data only for:

  • Core extension functionality
  • License validation and enforcement
  • Product stability, diagnostics, and support
  • Abuse prevention and security monitoring

We do not sell user data. We do not use data for advertising personalization.

4) Data sharing

We may share data only with essential service providers required to operate Engyne infrastructure (for example managed backend/database hosting), and only for service delivery and support.

5) Data retention

We retain operational and diagnostic records for as long as reasonably required for service continuity, troubleshooting, audit needs, and legal obligations. Data may be deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

6) Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect processed data.

7) User responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring their usage complies with applicable laws and third-party platform terms. Engyne is an independent tool and is not affiliated with IndiaMART.

8) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date.
