The best IndiaMART lead automation tools, compared honestly
We make one of the tools on this page. We have still tried to write the comparison we wish existed when we started — including the cases where something else is the better fit for you.
There is no single best IndiaMART lead automation tool — there are four different jobs. For real-time BuyLead qualification with the setup done for you, use Engyne. For a self-serve auto-clicker you configure yourself, use Indiamart Lead Autoclick or AutoSift. For exporting and archiving enquiry data, use IndiaMART Lead Manager. If you have fewer than about ten relevant BuyLeads a day, none of them are worth it yet.
The tools side by side
Details below are from each product's own public listing and website as of August 2026. Products change; check the current listing before you buy anything, including ours.
| Tool | Primary job | Setup model | Pricing | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Engyne | Qualify and pick fresh BuyLeads in real time | Done for you — keyword set built from your catalogue, tuned after live runs | Quoted per client, not published | Sellers in high-ticket categories who want it configured and maintained for them |
| Indiamart Lead Autoclick | Auto-click "Contact Buyer Now" on matching BuyLeads | Self-serve — you configure the rules | Listed on the Chrome Web Store | Hands-on sellers comfortable building and maintaining their own filter rules |
| AutoSift | Filter BuyLeads, auto-shortlist or contact, export CSV | Self-serve, Google sign-in | Free trial advertised; paid tiers not published | Sellers who want filtering plus their lead data in a spreadsheet |
| IndiaMART Lead Manager | Export and archive enquiry data from your account | Self-serve | Listed on the Chrome Web Store | Teams who need historical enquiry records, not real-time picking |
| Virtual assistant | A person doing it manually | Hire and train | A monthly salary | Sellers whose criteria genuinely need human judgement every time |
Where your data goes — the difference most comparisons skip
Feature lists in this category look alike. The architectures do not, and that gap matters more than any filter. There are two fundamentally different ways to build one of these tools, and it decides who can reach your IndiaMART account.
| Approach | Local browser extension | Server-side / account-connected |
|---|---|---|
| Needs your IndiaMART login | No — it works inside the session you are already signed into | Usually yes, or an account connection that acts on your behalf |
| Where leads are read | On your machine, in your browser | On the vendor's servers |
| Who can see your buyer data | You. The vendor has no path to it | The vendor, by design |
| If the vendor is breached | Your IndiaMART account is unaffected — they hold no credential | Whatever they stored is exposed |
| Can it act when your PC is off | No — a real limitation | Yes — the genuine upside of this model |
| Engyne | This one | — |
Engyne is the first kind. It never asks for, receives or stores your IndiaMART login. Requests go from your browser straight to IndiaMART, so your session never passes through our servers, and lead text is matched against your rules locally. We could not read your buyer data if we wanted to — there is no mechanism for it.
To be fair about the other model: server-side execution is not automatically unsafe, and it buys a real feature we cannot offer — running while your laptop is shut. The point is that it is a different risk profile, and you should pick it knowingly. Of the tools here, AutoSift requires a Google sign-in, which its own site states. We have no evidence that any tool in this category mishandles IndiaMART credentials and are not suggesting otherwise — only that you should ask before installing.

The tools in detail
Engyne
Best for done-for-you qualificationOur tool, so read this section with appropriate suspicion. Engyne is a Chrome extension that runs in the side panel next to the IndiaMART seller portal, reads each visible BuyLead, and applies your rules before anything is picked: approved and restricted keywords, Indian state rules or export country lists, lead age, member age, quantity minimums, and whether the buyer's mobile or email is available or verified.
The part that actually differentiates it is not the filtering — it is that we build the keyword set from your catalogue, watch the first live runs with you, and keep tuning the rules from your real picked and rejected logs for a year. Most automation setups fail because nobody maintains the keyword list, not because the software lacked a feature.
- Keyword set built for you from your catalogue, then tuned on real logs
- Test mode runs every rule and logs every decision while spending nothing
- Auto-stop caps how many picks a session can make
- Every rejection is logged with the reason, so the rules improve over time
- India state rules and export country rules in the same tool
- A year of WhatsApp, WhatsApp and email support included, not sold separately
- No published price — you have to talk to us to find out
- No self-serve signup or free tier
- Requires a licence key — there is no free tier to try alone
- Overkill if you only get a handful of relevant leads a day
- Chrome must be running for the scheduler to work
- Not a CRM — it stops once the lead is picked
Indiamart Lead Autoclick
Best self-serve auto-clickerThe closest direct competitor to what we do. A Chrome extension for active seller.indiamart.com users that automatically clicks "Contact Buyer Now" when an individual BuyLead matches your saved keywords, categories, quantity requirements, order value, target locations, export countries, and product-specific targeting rules. Its keyword handling is genuinely good — complete word and phrase matching, singular and plural forms, and quantity unit support.
If you are the kind of seller who enjoys getting a settings page exactly right and does not want to talk to a vendor, this is a reasonable choice and we would not try to talk you out of it.
- Available on the Chrome Web Store — install and go
- Detailed rule set including order value and category targeting
- Thoughtful keyword matching, including plurals and units
- No sales conversation required
- You build and maintain the keyword list yourself
- No included tuning as your category shifts
- Getting the initial rules wrong can cost real credits
AutoSift
Best if you want your leads in a spreadsheetB2B lead automation for IndiaMART sellers, marketed around saving four or more hours a day. Filters BuyLeads by keyword, quantity and price, can auto-shortlist or auto-contact, and exports to CSV. Sign-in is via Google, and the site advertises a 15-day free trial plus some daily free usage.
The CSV export is the real differentiator here. If your team works leads out of a spreadsheet or pushes them into another system, that matters more than a marginally better filter.
- Free trial, so you can evaluate it at no cost
- CSV export for teams working leads outside IndiaMART
- Shortlist mode as a lower-risk alternative to auto-contacting
- Paid pricing is not published, same as ours
- Requires Google sign-in
- Self-serve configuration and maintenance
IndiaMART Lead Manager
Best for exporting historical enquiriesWorth knowing about, but it solves a different problem. This one exports and archives buyer enquiry data from your own account — downloading records from previous months, keeping a long-term archive, and analysing enquiry trends over time. It does not qualify or pick new BuyLeads.
If what you actually need is reporting on enquiries you already received, this is the right category of tool and an auto-picker will not help you.
- Structured historical export of your own enquiry data
- Useful for trend analysis and reporting
- Complements rather than competes with a picking tool
- Does not qualify or pick new BuyLeads at all
- Solves reporting, not speed-to-lead
Hiring a virtual assistant
Best when the decision genuinely needs a humanThe option most sellers actually compare against, and it deserves a fair hearing. A trained person can read nuance software cannot — an oddly worded enquiry that is obviously a real buyer, or a technically matching lead that is obviously a competitor fishing.
The catch is cost and coverage. One person is one salary and one shift, and their judgement drifts when they are tired or rushed. In practice the best setups use both: rules for the repetitive filtering, a person for the calls that follow.
- Handles genuine ambiguity and edge cases
- No software to configure
- The same person can follow up on picked leads
- A recurring salary, typically well above software cost
- One shift — leads posted at 9pm wait until morning
- Consistency drifts; needs training and management
How to choose
Start with volume. If your category produces fewer than roughly ten relevant BuyLeads a day, none of this is worth the setup effort — check them by hand and spend the money on your catalogue instead. Automation multiplies an existing lead flow; it does not create one.
If you are past that point, the question is who maintains the rules. Every one of these tools filters on keywords. The difference between a setup that works in month six and one that quietly stops picking good leads is whether someone is reading the rejection logs and adding the terms that were missing. If that person exists on your team, buy a self-serve tool. If they do not, buy the version where it is somebody's job.
Then check the spend controls before you enable anything automatic. A hard cap on picks per session and a test mode that spends nothing are not nice-to-haves — they are what stands between a misconfigured keyword and a day of wasted credits.
If you want to configure a tool yourself and never speak to a vendor, Indiamart Lead Autoclick or AutoSift will serve you well, and we would rather you buy one of those than buy Engyne and be disappointed.
Engyne is the right call when the leads are high-ticket enough that missing one hurts, and when nobody on your team has time to own the keyword list. You are buying the maintenance more than the software.
Where all of these fall short
- None of them create demand. If your category is quiet, automation finds few relevant leads faster.
- All browser extensions need the browser open. None of these are cloud services; your machine has to be awake and running Chrome.
- None are official IndiaMART products. All are independent third-party tools with no affiliation to IndiaMART InterMESH Ltd.
- None replace the follow-up. Picking a lead is the start of the sale. Whoever calls the buyer still decides whether you win it.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best IndiaMART lead automation tool?
There is no single best tool — it depends on the job. For real-time BuyLead qualification where you want the setup done for you, Engyne is built for that. For a self-serve extension you configure yourself, Indiamart Lead Autoclick and AutoSift both do keyword-based auto-contacting. For exporting and archiving enquiry data rather than qualifying new leads, IndiaMART Lead Manager solves a different problem. Match the tool to the job rather than looking for an overall winner.
Is there a free IndiaMART lead automation tool?
AutoSift advertises a 15-day free trial and some daily free usage. Indiamart Lead Autoclick is listed on the Chrome Web Store with its own trial terms. Engyne does not have a self-serve free tier — it is quoted per client and includes setup and a year of support, though we do issue demo keys so you can see it run on your own account before deciding.
Do IndiaMART automation tools waste BuyLead credits?
They can, if the rules are loose. A tool that auto-contacts on a broad keyword match will spend credits on leads you would have rejected by hand. The protections that matter are restricted keyword lists, location rules, quantity minimums, contact-verification requirements, a hard cap on picks per session, and a test mode that runs the rules while spending nothing. Check which of these a tool actually has before enabling auto-contact.
Are IndiaMART automation extensions allowed?
These tools automate actions you can already perform yourself, in your own seller account, in your own browser, and none of the ones listed here use an official IndiaMART API. They are independent third-party tools with no affiliation to IndiaMART InterMESH Ltd. Sellers should read their own agreement with the platform and decide what they are comfortable with.
What should I look for when choosing?
Five things: how precisely you can express what you actually sell, whether location rules match your market (Indian states for domestic, country lists for export), what stops runaway credit spend, whether rejections are logged with a reason so you can tune, and whether you get help building the keyword set or are left to do it alone. The last one is where most setups quietly fail.
