Understand where account data is processed
Engyne Cloud runs capture on hosted infrastructure and provides a phone and desktop web app for rules, schedules, activity, analytics and signed webhooks.
A Chrome extension can process leads locally and still contact licensing or diagnostics services. A Cloud service needs an authorised session on hosted infrastructure to operate while your laptop is closed. Neither architecture justifies a promise of zero risk. Ask what is stored, which providers receive it, how you disconnect, and how deletion requests work.
Choose the operating model first
Choose Cloud when your team needs to manage capture away from the desk. Compare the rule editor, limits and decision history against your own catalogue before enabling automatic purchases.

A practical evaluation checklist
